Standing
– Disinfect hands and put on disposable gloves
– Unfold the elastic side panels
– Position the diaper between the legs, front to back
– Unfold the back part and then the front part
– Pull the elastic tabs with adhesives and fasten, adjusting to the body
– To remove, always remove from the back
– Dispose of diaper and gloves in common waste and disinfect hands

Lying down
– Disinfect hands and put on disposable gloves
– Turn the person onto their side, with their back to the caregiver
– Position the diaper between the legs, front to back
– Unfold the back part and pass one tab under the person
– Align the diaper with the wetness indicator along the spine
– Lay the person on their back and unfold the front part
– Pull the elastic tabs with adhesives and fasten, adjusting to the body
– To remove, always remove from the back
– Dispose of diaper and gloves in common waste and disinfect hands
