How to put on
– Fold the sleeve over the wrist area
– Pull the sleeve with the folded part over the hand
– Carefully hold the fabric on the outside and gradually pull upwards until it is evenly placed on the arm
Cleaning instructions
– If machine washed, wash at a maximum of 40ºC. Use delicate laundry detergent and a wash bag. Do not use fabric softener, stain remover, or bleach.
– Can be tumble dried on a delicate cycle.
– If hand washed, press between two towels (do not wring).
– Do not iron.
– Do not wash with chemical products.
– Clean the moisture from the silicone adhesive band daily.
Contraindications
– Advanced peripheral arterial occlusive disease
– Decompensated heart failure
– Septic phlebitis
– Phlegmasia cerulea dolens
In these cases, the treatment decision should be made after weighing the benefits and risks and choosing the most appropriate compression agent:
– Pronounced weeping dermatoses
– Incompatibility with the compression material
– Severe disturbances of limb sensitivity
– Advanced states of peripheral neuropathies (e.g., in cases of diabetes mellitus)
– Primary chronic polyarthritis
Recommendations
– Check your size in the chart
– Check if it is properly placed (the label is on the upper edge of the sleeve, towards the shoulder)
– Do not grab the compression sleeve with your fingernails
– Arms and hands must be dry
– Do not cut labels or trims
– Store in a dry place protected from light
– As it is a material subject to wear and tear, the recommended usage time is a maximum of 6 months, assuming correct handling (putting on, taking off, washing, etc.)
