It can be added to hot or cold preparations, thickens quickly and does not continue to thicken over time. It does not alter the taste, colour or smell of food.
Indicated for patients with dysphagia – helps those with difficulty swallowing, thickening liquid and pasty foods to ensure greater safety when swallowing. Resistance to salivary amylase prevents food from becoming liquid in the mouth, reducing risks if aspirated into the respiratory tract.
Where to use – it can be added to hot or cold food and drinks, always maintaining the original flavour and appearance.
Easy to prepare
– Liquids: add the recommended amount of powder, gradually adding the liquid and stirring until dissolved.
– Purées: add the powder directly and mix until the desired consistency is obtained.
It is gluten-free and lactose-free, should be consumed under medical supervision and should not be used as the sole source of nutrition. It does not alter the taste of food.
Contraindications – not suitable for children under 3 years of age. Should be used with caution in patients with sodium restriction.
